SHOWCASE & ADC Artspace Art Sudios
FREE
20+ talented local artists at the ADC Artspace (Landmark South, Wong Chuk Hang) will open the doors of their creative space. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the artists’ workspaces, appreciate their works, witness their creative processes, and gain insights into the stories behind their creations.
Apart from promoting arts, the event aims to involve the community and shed light on the hidden gems of Wong Chuk Hang. The Bazaar will be filled with brands and organisations nestled in Wong Chuk Hang and the Southern District, such as the African coffee shop "Africa Coffee & Tea," and "The Fisher" which offers a range of exploration activities in the Southern District. Additionally, various local cultural and creative brands, covering illustrations, ceramics, handicrafts, and more, will be here offering a wide range of cultural and creative products to the public.
To complement the theme and incorporate elements of Wong Chuk Hang, the event has specially designed a "Light•Shadow Photo Zone". This captivating installation uses light and shadow to evoke the feeling of a glittering sea, providing visitors with a perfect photo opportunity. It showcases Wong Chuk Hang's transformation from a fishing port into a vibrant neighborhood filled with creative art and vitality.
"Light•Shadow Concert" offers a musical performance Interwoven with light and shadow. Four local independent bands have been invited to present diverse music styles to the audience. From the Indie pop & Synthpop sounds of “COPAK” to the R&B, ROCK, and FUNK fusion of “HEDGEHOG,” the ethereal vocals of "Just a Broken Machine" singing in their unique language, and "Rosemances" which presents floating romance with small fragments of life, each band promises an engaging performance. Through the custom light and shadow effects inspired by the aurora theme, the audience can immerse themselves in the stories behind the music.
